Old Vine, Damascus

Old Vine hotel is an original 17th century courtyard Arabic house, turned into a luxurious nine suite bedroom boutique hotel. All rooms are around the courtyard which has a large original fountain, lemon trees and an old vine tree.

Located near the most important tourist attractions in Damascus, the Umayyad Mosque (2 minute walk), Hamedya Market (3 minute walk) and the Shrine of Saladin (2 minute walk), Old Vine hotel has transferred from a house into a luxury boutique hotel over the course of two years. The hotel offers 9 bedrooms (6 double, 1 twin and 2 single) all double rooms are considered junior suites. All materials used in refurbishing the hotel were done by using the traditional methods and materials.

Each room in Old Vine hotel has its own characters; different traditional colours have been used to decorate the walls. Bathrooms are fitted with hand made and painted tiles and drawings.
